High-Precision ADC-MS6616

Product Overview:

The MS6616 is a 16-channel, 16-bit ADC supporting dual simultaneous sampling at a conversion rate of 1 MSPS per channel. Operating from a single 5 V supply, it supports true bipolar analog inputs of ±10 V, ±5 V, and ±2.5 V.

Each channel delivers a typical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 89 dB. With the integrated oversampling mode, the device can achieve even better SNR performance. The analog input ports include on-chip input clamp protection, capable of withstanding up to ±22 V clamp voltage.

To simplify PCB-level system design, the MS6616 integrates input buffers with 1 MΩ input impedance and anti-aliasing filters, enabling direct acquisition of analog signals without the need for external bipolar supplies or driver amplifiers. A high-precision, configurable on-chip reference voltage generator and buffer is also integrated.

The MS6616 supports both parallel and serial interface modes, selectable via hardware pin configurations, providing flexible connectivity with various microcontrollers and DSPs.

The device is available in an 80-pin LQFP package.
