The MS1990 is a monitoring device designed for measuring temperature, voltage, and current in PCB systems. Through an I²C serial interface, it can independently measure four single-ended voltage inputs, or be configured as two differential pairs for current or remote BJT-based temperature sensing. The device also supports on-chip temperature measurement and VCC monitoring.
An integrated 10 ppm/°C precision reference minimizes the need for external components and reduces PCB footprint. With configurable I²C addresses and feature options, the MS1990 is highly adaptable to a variety of applications requiring voltage, current, or temperature monitoring.
It is well-suited for systems that demand sub-millivolt voltage resolution, 1% current measurement accuracy, ±3.5°C temperature accuracy, or any combination of these requirements.
The MS1990 is available in a 10-pin MSOP package, operates over a –40°C to +125°C temperature range, and can interface directly with FPGAs, MCUs, or DSPs via the I²C bus.
